In Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi's book 'FINDING FLOW' he says that people are more likely to be happy if they are:
Healthy; Extrovert; having strong self-esteem; in a stable marriage and have religious faith.
Oh well, perhaps my strong Spiritual Faith will keep a smile on my face. And.....I can be quite extrovert after half a bottle of red wine = maybe I should drink more.

He's pretty good though a bit "professorial" about things, no? I have his book on Creativity.
I'm not sure about this formula. The extrovert part - why? More instantaneous ego gratification? Healthy - ok, I can see that. Married - what if your spouse is a psycho that drives you crazy and your extroversion and strong self-esteem causes you to argue all the time? Religious faith - maybe.
I don't know about that formula. Not sure at all.
