An old couple who live near me recently 'lost' their much loved old Welsh Border Collie. With the best will in the world they decided to go to the pound and adopt a rescue dog.
Megan is a beautiful mongrel with all the attributes of a collie dog; she looks like a collie and she acts like a collie. Her hair is a rusty red with white legs and snout, she had the most adorable eyes. Megan is 11 months old and she is boisterous.
It saddens me to see this young, energetic dog tied to the old man by her lead; he daren't let her free because she doesn't want to come back for hours and it can take four of us that long to catch her, she's so wiley and she loves to run.
